Join JOHN BRADLEY & SON (SPRINGS) LTD as a Multi skilled engineering apprentice based in Chadderton, Oldham. This Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with scheduled off-the-job training at Rochdale Training Association Limited, including one week per month release at the Rochdale Training Centre.

You will rotate through departments and gain hands-on experience with fabrication, sheet metal, turning, milling, drilling, pipe bending, CNC machines, CAD, grinding and welding (including laser welding).

The apprenticeship is primarily workplace-based (Junction 21 Business Park, Gorse Street, Chadderton, Oldham, OL9 9QH) with formal training delivered by Rochdale Training Association Limited. Hours are Monday-Thursday between 7:45am and 6:00pm, totalling 37 hours 30 minutes per week.

The role includes full mentorship, ongoing training, and opportunities to progress to Level 3 or into a permanent position with performance-related bonuses and incentives.

Applicants must hold GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 4/C or above and be able to travel to the Rochdale Training Centre for training weeks. The apprenticeship starts on 16 November 2025 and runs for one year. Two positions are available.
