Discover more about the themes, ideas and techniques behind the ‘UNmaking’ exhibition in this free, informal drop-in session with exhibition artist Vivienne Beaumont at the Museum in the Park. Visitors can meet the maker, ask questions and share ideas in a relaxed setting.
Vivienne Beaumont’s practice combines symbolism, machine embroidery and printmaking to explore life’s ephemeral and cyclical nature. Her work draws on archetypal imagery and shared cultural memory, while drawing and design sit at the centre of her creative process, often developed further in Photoshop and transferred onto fabric through printing methods.
