Apply NowCurious how sound can be shaped for everyone? Join The Music Works' DMLab Show & Tell to explore accessible instruments, get hands-on, meet makers and musicians, and boost your music tech skills and creative network.
DMLab Gloucester is a community of makers and musicians coming together to develop new accessible musical instruments. The project is part of a wider DMLab community already running in London and Manchester, with Gloucester versions planned for 2026 and 2027.
This event gives attendees the chance to get hands-on with accessible music instruments, hear about projects in development, and meet other musicians, makers, and hackers. It is designed as an opportunity to explore how music, disability, and technology can work together in practice.
The first listed event is Show & Tell #1 - Feeling Sound, an afternoon of presentations featuring Professor Rachel Edwards, Robin Thorn, and Adrian Bossey. Visitors can book a place through the event link and join the discussion around inclusive music-making and instrument design.
