National Careers Service: Presenting Skills to support your Career

Join National Careers Service for an interactive online webinar focused on building stronger presenting skills to support your career. The session is designed to help participants present with more clarity, conviction and confidence, using practical professional performance techniques.

The webinar covers the key elements of effective presentation, including body language, voice, non-verbal communication, managing nerves, preparing for a presentation, engaging an audience, and delivering with impact. Participants will work through a range of techniques and practical exercises to develop confidence and improve how they communicate in professional settings.

The session is delivered via Microsoft Teams and attendees will be expected to speak during the webinar, although camera use is not required. New customers are recommended to have an appointment with a National Careers Service adviser before the webinar, to help them explore careers, review skills, plan next steps, and identify learning, training, apprenticeship and employment opportunities.
