National Careers Service West Midlands Self-employment - Getting started

This online webinar is designed for anyone thinking about becoming self-employed but who is not sure how to begin. It aims to give participants a clearer understanding of the first steps involved in starting out, along with practical guidance on where to find support.

The session covers the pros and cons of self-employment and signposts sources of help, including funding, business advice, marketing, bookkeeping, and taxation. It also includes a guest speaker from a training provider that runs a self-employment skills bootcamp, offering training and guidance on setting up a business.

Webinars are delivered via Microsoft Teams.
