Prize: Potential for your composition to be featured on BBC Radio 3 through the Young Composers Award.

This free workshop is designed for A-level Music students who want to develop their creative composition skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Taking place in person at the National Centre for Early Music in York, the session is part of the annual Young Composers Award and offers a chance to explore ideas, build confidence, and experiment with different approaches to composing.

Participants will work with experienced leaders including composer Stef Connor and Young Composers Award alumnus Jacob Jordan, with a special guest leader announced on the day. The workshop also includes insight into pathways into the music industry, as well as the opportunity to sign up for the Young Composers Award and potentially have a composition featured on BBC Radio 3.
