Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the Natural History Museum’s international photography competition for photographers aged 17 and under. Entrants submit original wildlife photographs that capture the natural world in a creative, honest and ethical way, with separate age categories for younger and older entrants.
The competition is entered online through the Wildlife Photographer of the Year portal. Entries must follow strict rules on authenticity, caption accuracy and image processing, and photographs of captive animals, baiting, interference or AI-generated content are not allowed.
Shortlisted images may need to be authenticated with original files, and successful photographs can be awarded, exhibited and published by the Museum.
