Neuroscience for Teens at Cambridge University is a two-week, in-person summer course designed specifically for curious students aged 13-15. The programme explores brain structure and function, the nervous system, learning and memory, and includes interactive activities, group research and a teamwork masterclass.
Classes are small (maximum of 8 students) and teaching is delivered by experienced tutors with regular reflection sessions and individual feedback.
Students live and study in Cambridge colleges (Fitzwilliam College; Murray Edwards College; Gonville and Caius College) when choosing residential options, with full-board meals provided. Day (non-residential) students follow a structured day programme with drop-off between 08:30-09:00 and activities running through the afternoon to typical pick-up between 18:30-19:00.
Residential packages include accommodation tiers (Plus, Superior, Premier) and scheduled Heathrow airport transfers on official arrival/departure days (staffed 09:00-16:00).
The course includes excursions to cultural and historical sites (e. g. , Westminster, British Museum, Canterbury), a university-style skills masterclass, and a graduation at the end of the programme.
Every participant receives a certificate of achievement, written tutor feedback and a personalised Letter of Recommendation.
