New Adventures Placement Programme

New Adventures’ Placement Programme offers hands-on experience across major touring productions and the company’s charity teams. Placements can be based in departments such as lighting, sound, stage management, wardrobe, stage crew, automation, wigs, hair and makeup, production management and assistant producing, giving participants a close look at how live touring theatre is brought to life.

The programme is designed for new and emerging talent who want to explore backstage and technical careers in theatre. Opportunities range from one-day technical experiences to one-week and two-week placements, 4-5 week rehearsal room placements, and project-based placements lasting up to three months.

New Adventures also offers placements in wider company areas including finance and operations, communications and marketing, inclusion and access, Take Part, Swan School and Cygnet School.
