Newcastle University Computing Experience Day

This is an academic taster day run by Newcastle University's School of Computing aimed at Year 12 students interested in studying Computing at university. The event is designed to give attendees an introduction to the different Computing disciplines, potential careers, and what studying Computing at Newcastle looks like.

Participants will have the opportunity to visit the School of Computing facilities and take part in a practical, hands-on activity using university equipment. The day is intended to support students preparing personal statements and to give a realistic sense of campus study and computing-related career pathways.

The event is offered on multiple dates (see intakes). The day will likely run from 09:45 to 14:45. Places are available for booking by teacher-led school groups or individual students; successful applicants will be notified by email. Those not selected will also be informed.
