The PARTNERS Academic Summer School (PASS) run by Newcastle University is a subject-strand based academic summer school for students who hold a firm choice PARTNERS offer at Newcastle. Subject strand allocations are confirmed by email after you select Newcastle as your firm choice.
The week includes on-campus and online teaching tailored to your subject strand, formative assessments, HE skills and Careers & Employability modules, and access to a PASS Hub Canvas community with timetables, teaching contacts and support resources. Key timeline items include receipt of university IT/login access and Canvas community on 22 June, registration on campus on Sunday 28 June or online login from Monday 29 June, and compulsory timetabled teaching and activities across Sunday 28 June 126 to Friday 3 July.
Attendees must complete required tasks and formative assignments, attend live webinars in the PASS Hub, and submit the PASS evaluation by 17 July. Support for travel and accommodation is available for non-local participants via a booking request form sent by email; under-18s staying in university accommodation require a signed consent form.
