Newnham College’s Akhawaaat Society is hosting an access conference for Muslim women in Year 12 who are interested in applying to Cambridge and other Russell Group universities. The event is designed to help students understand what competitive university applications involve and to offer practical advice from current undergraduates.
The programme will include a workshop and Q&A led by Muslim students currently studying at Newnham, giving attendees the chance to hear first-hand experiences of university life and the admissions process. Participants will also take part in an admissions workshop and a tour of Newnham College.
Lunch is included, and travel costs will be covered for attendees who are eligible for Free School Meals.
