Build and programme robots in a free, hands-on experience day designed for beginners. Explore how robotics can tackle real-world challenges through practical, interactive activities, with lunch and refreshments provided at The Kindle Centre in Hereford.
NMITE RoboAcademy is a free, hands-on robotics experience day for beginners who want to explore how robots are designed, built and programmed to solve real-world challenges. The session is practical, interactive and supportive, making it a strong introduction for young people who are curious about robotics and programming but do not need any prior experience.
The programme is split into two age-specific sessions, one for ages 9 to 13 and another for ages 14 to 18, so activities can be matched to the needs of different participants. It takes place in person at The Kindle Centre in Hereford, and lunch plus refreshments are provided.
The event is supported by the Pride in Place programme, with priority release for children and students living in the Hunderton and South Wye area of Herefordshire.
