North Wales Police Volunteer Police Cadets

North Wales Police is recruiting new Volunteer Police Cadets across Wrexham and Flintshire. The programme is aimed at young people who want to learn more about policing while building confidence, teamwork and leadership skills in a supportive setting.

Cadets meet every Tuesday evening at the Divisional Police Headquarters in Llay, where sessions cover community safety, first aid, crime prevention, teamwork and an introduction to different areas of policing. Alongside these activities, cadets also have the chance to volunteer at community events and support local initiatives, giving them a practical way to contribute to their communities.

The programme is designed to help young people develop skills that can support them in education, employment and everyday life, while also encouraging positive relationships between young people and the police.
