Work in pairs or groups at community events, running information stalls, collecting donations and raising awareness for an air ambulance charity. Take on flexible shifts at festivals, open days or busy seasonal events, with induction training and a supported trial period.
This is an ad hoc, flexible volunteering role supporting North West Air Ambulance at community events whenever help is needed. Most activity takes place at busy times such as weekends, summer events and the festive period, and volunteers work in pairs or groups to help raise awareness of the charity and collect funds.
Volunteers may help with bag packs, information stalls, bucket collections and community open days, as well as larger flagship charity events and festivals. The role is aimed at young people who are friendly, keen to learn and comfortable working as part of a team.
Volunteers receive induction training and further support, and the application process includes an informal discussion and a trial period.
