Take on hands-on conservation volunteering across wetlands, grassland and woodland habitats, while learning about native wildlife. Sessions alternate between Attenborough and Skylarks Nature Reserves in south Nottinghamshire; no previous skills are needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in.

Join Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust’s South Notts Young Rangers for hands-on conservation volunteering at two local nature reserves. Young volunteers get involved in practical work connected to wetlands, grassland and woodland habitats, while learning about native wildlife and the habitats it needs to thrive.

The sessions are designed to help young people build confidence, work as part of a team and gain practical experience that can transfer to many areas of life. It is a friendly, supportive opportunity for anyone who wants to spend time outdoors, meet like-minded people and make a positive difference for nature.

Activities alternate between Attenborough Nature Reserve and Skylarks Nature Reserve in south Nottinghamshire. No previous skills are needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in.
