Kickstart an accountancy career with NSCG's Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship - get paid by your employer, study AAT Level 3 with weekly college classes, and complete an End Point Assessment to progress into junior finance roles.

This Level 3 Assistant Accountant Advanced Apprenticeship develops the practical skills needed to support accountants with financial records, tax returns and analysis of financial data while working in practice or within a finance function. Apprentices study the professional AAT Level 3 qualification alongside employer-based work and are assessed through a synoptic test, reflective discussion and portfolio of evidence as part of the End Point Assessment.

Apprentices typically work a minimum of 30 hours per week for their employer and attend weekly college classes or designated workplace training time. To achieve the apprenticeship apprentices must pass end-of-unit exams at college and achieve a pass in the End Point Assessment; apprentices must hold Level 2 English and maths to commence the EPA.

Some roles may require a DBS check, which will be confirmed at interview.

Typical job roles after completion include Assistant Accountant, Trainee Accounting Technician, Accounts Clerk, Finance Assistant and ledger roles. For enquiries and application information contact NSCG apprenticeships by phone or email.
