Nursery Educator Apprenticeship - Harvey House Nursery Limited

This is a 14-month Nursery Educator apprenticeship based at Harvey House Nursery in Leytonstone, London. You will work in a childcare setting supporting children aged 0-5, gaining hands-on experience while working towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years (Early Years Educator Level 3).

The role is primarily workplace-based with structured training and assessment support from a dedicated assessor and mentor.

Day-to-day duties include creating engaging and safe environments, teaching within the EYFS framework, supporting children with self-care, planning and delivering activities, liaising with parents and external professionals, and contributing to meeting Ofsted requirements. The apprenticeship includes classroom-based learning delivered online one day a week for the first eight weeks and ongoing workplace training provided by SWIFT ACI.

You will also complete a paediatric first aid qualification as part of the programme.

Applicants must have GCSEs in Maths and English (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent Level 2 qualifications. Successful candidates should be able to commit to a minimum 30-hour working week and attend scheduled online training; a laptop/PC is required for the online classroom components.

Completion may lead to Level 3 practitioner roles or further progression within childcare and related sectors.
