This apprenticeship places you within DHL Global Forwarding's Ocean Freight Commercial Centre (OCC) to develop practical skills in international freight forwarding, customer relationship management and commercial pricing processes. You'll work on tasks such as responding to customer enquiries, developing relationships with carriers, supporting spot and monthly pricing, contributing to global tender responses and maintaining service level agreements.

The role includes regular team briefings, performance meetings and statutory mandatory training.

You will study towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard with training delivered by SEETEC Business Technology Centre Limited. The apprenticeship starts Monday 24 November 2025, runs for 1 year 6 months (as listed), and involves working Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm (37 hours 30 minutes per week).

The role is based at Princemead Place, Mosley Road, Trafford Park, Manchester (M17 1QA). Wage for the first year is £14,722. 50; salary is reviewed after 12 months.

Pay & Benefits

£14,722.50 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices. Salary is reviewed after 12 months.
