Want to supercharge your law application? Join Oxford Scholastica’s month‑long online Law Research Internship: explore a cutting‑edge legal topic, work with an Oxbridge mentor, build research skills and co-author a paper for publication — all via weekend live sessions.

Oxford Scholastica Academy's Online Law Research Internships are month-long online programmes aimed at 15-18 year olds interested in legal research and strengthening their law school applications. Interns explore a cutting-edge legal topic, work in small groups with an expert mentor (typically Oxford or Cambridge academics), and co-author a research paper submitted for publication..

Each internship runs over four weekends with a three-hour live session each week (12 hours of live mentoring in total) plus additional independent research. Sessions cover research methods, structuring academic papers, feedback and presentation of findings.

The Environmental Law intake runs Sundays 8 Feb, 15 Feb, 22 Feb and 1 Mar 2026 (Sundays 16:00-19:00 UTC for that intake); other intakes run at weekend slots to suit different time zones. Successful interns receive a Certificate of Achievement and may be awarded a personalised Letter of Recommendation.

The programme emphasises academic writing, critical thinking and teamwork, and offers the opportunity to publish research. Places are limited and applications are assessed on a rolling basis until full.
