Optical Assistant Apprenticeship - Specsavers Beverley

Specsavers Beverley is offering a Level 3 Optical Assistant apprenticeship combining on-the-job experience in-store with specialist training from Specsavers Optical Superstores Limited. As an apprentice you will work full time (40 hours per week, including weekend working) and learn practical duties such as welcoming customers, booking eye tests, pre-screening patients, measuring frames, fitting and adjusting spectacle frames, processing orders and payments, providing product advice, and supporting extended services such as minor eye condition services and low vision support.

Training includes daily on-the-job learning, Level 2 Functional Skills in English if required, and an End Point Assessment. The role starts Monday 2 February 2026, runs for 1 year 6 months, and is based at the Specsavers store at 52 Toll Gavel, Beverley HU17 9BN.

Applicants should be able to travel to the store daily and must hold the essential GCSE maths requirement listed.
