Oxbridge Academic Programs
Apply NowWant a taste of Oxford life? Join the Oxford Summer Seminars at Worcester College to study one subject with expert instructors, build academic skills, attend talks and strengthen your uni application in one or two week modules.
The Oxford Summer Seminars are condensed, high-school-level on-campus programs at Worcester College, University of Oxford. Students in Grades 10-12 select one core subject per session (examples include Psychology, Medicine, Business, Creative Writing, Philosophy and Politics) and study under expert instructors.
Sessions are offered as one-week modules and as a combined two-week option. Outside of class, participants attend academic talks, workshops to develop academic skills and university application support, and a range of cultural and recreational activities that make use of Oxford’s resources (library and college visits, museum trips, theatre, sports and local tours).
Sample course content includes introductions to anatomy and physiology for medicine, experimental psychology topics, economics and business case studies, and literature and creative-writing workshops. Fees cover accommodation, classroom instruction, meals (breakfast and dinner), scheduled extra-curricular activities, course supplies and airport transport.
Students live in undergraduate rooms (singles or doubles) and are responsible for their own lunch. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available. After the program, students and parents receive comprehensive grade reports summarising course syllabus and achievements.
