Oxford Biology Summer Program 2026: Best Parents

This two-week Oxford Biology Summer Program (Best Parents) is an on-campus residential and day programme for students aged 16-918. Delivered at the University of Oxford campus, the course combines small-group teaching (average 7, maximum 12) with workshops, guest speakers and a mentor scheme.

Participants study core biological topics including genetics, ecology, human biology and introductory bioinformatics while developing research, presentation and scientific writing skills. All students receive a detailed tutor report and a certificate at graduation.

Academic delivery includes four core modules (Macromolecules of Life; Cell Theory & Cell Structure; Principles of Bioinformatics; Biological Research & Society) alongside academic skills workshops covering productivity, essay writing, interview preparation and technology skills. Guest speakers and excursions (Oxford colleges and an optional London trip) expand the academic programme with real-world context and enrichment.

Accommodation is provided in central Oxford colleges (individual bedrooms; shared bathrooms or limited ensuite options), with Wi-Fi and gender-separated housing. The programme includes social activities and two formal dinners.

Shared transfers from London Heathrow are offered for a fee (A3150 each way). Multiple sessions run in July and August 2026 with day and boarding options.
