Choose subject masterclasses, get mentoring from current students and experience a summer school, with support for UCAS applications, personal statements and interviews. Complete the programme and you could receive a contextual offer; travel and meals are provided for in-person activities.

Prize: Successful completion gives access to a contextual offer to study at Oxford Brookes University, usually around two grades lower than the standard tariff requirement, subject to other conditions being met.

Brookes Engage is Oxford Brookes University’s national outreach programme for Year 12 students or those in the first year of college studying a two-year Level 3 qualification. It is designed to help participants explore university study, make informed decisions about their next steps, and build confidence ahead of applying to higher education.

The programme combines on-campus masterclass days, online content, mentoring from current Oxford Brookes students, and a summer school experience. Participants can choose subject sessions linked to their interests, access support with UCAS applications, personal statements, interviews and careers information, and take part in activities that explain what student life at Oxford Brookes is like.

Successful completion of the programme can lead to a contextual offer to study at Oxford Brookes. The programme is free, with travel and meals provided for in-person activities, and summer school participants may stay in university accommodation or commute if they prefer.
