CLOSED THIS CYCLE

Oxford Medicine Course 2026 is a two-week pre-college summer school for high-school students interested in medicine. Over 25 hours of academic content per week, the course covers human biology, anatomy, physiology and pathology alongside medical ethics.

Learning combines classroom seminars with simulated clinical sessions where students practise patient assessment, communication and basic first-aid skills. Students work in teams on case studies and problem-solving tasks, and are taught by experienced medical professionals and hospital doctors through lectures, workshops and industry-style projects.

The programme includes access to an online learning platform (The Future Skills Programme), guest lectures, a graduation ceremony, and an end-of-course report to support future study choices. This is a boarding programme based at Oxford University student accommodation (Wycliffe Hall).

The fee covers accommodation, meals, excursions, activity programme and insurance; airport transfer service is offered for an additional cost. The course is aimed at high school students aged 15-17 preparing for further study or a career in medicine.
