Immerse Education's Oxford Philosophy Summer School (Summer 2026) is a two-week academic immersion designed for students aged 16-18. The programme covers core areas of philosophy including logic, ethics, metaphysics and political theory through seminar-based learning, small-group teaching (class sizes of 7-10), and one-to-one tutoring with tutors from leading universities.
Participants undertake a self-directed research project and receive personalised feedback to strengthen university applications.
Students live and learn in Oxford University colleges (examples: St Edmund's Hall, Balliol College, Oriel College), gaining an authentic residential experience with assigned accommodation, Wi-Fi, and catered meals for residential options. The programme also includes two full-day excursions (Cambridge and London), guest lectures, evening events, and a graduation ceremony with a formal dinner.
An optional UCAS points add-on (8 points) is available as part of the application process.
Multiple delivery options are offered (non-residential, residential, and residential + online research module), and every participant receives a certificate recognising their achievement. The course is explicitly positioned as preparation for students interested in philosophy, law, or any field that values rigorous reasoning and academic writing.
