Oxford Scholastica Academy
Apply NowWant to build a business at Oxford this summer? Join a two-week residential academy to explore entrepreneurship, economics and leadership, develop pitching and management skills, and design a start-up to pitch - boost your uni and career prospects.
The Experience Business & Enterprise Academy is a two-week residential summer school on the Oxford University campus that introduces 15-18 year olds to core business and economic principles, entrepreneurship and leadership. Students study topics including management theory, marketing and social media, macroeconomics and international trade, game theory and financial markets, and gain practical experience through a Start-up Challenge where they design, research and pitch a viable business idea.
Classes are small (maximum 15 students) and are typically taught by tutors from leading universities such as Oxford and Cambridge. The programme combines daily academic sessions with masterclasses, meetings with entrepreneurs, cultural excursions around Oxford and social activities designed to give participants a flavour of university life.
Successful participants receive a Certificate of Achievement and may be awarded a personalised Letter of Recommendation; there is also an optional Ambassador Programme following the course.
Three two-week intakes run in summer 2026 (5-18 July, 19 July August and 2 August August). Applicants apply online and secure places by paying a deposit of A3995. Entry requires motivation and CEFR C1 English; applicants already at university are not eligible.
