Oxford Scholastica Academy Experience Business & Enterprise Academy

Oxford Scholastica Academy’s Experience Business & Enterprise Academy is a two-week summer school in Oxford for motivated young people interested in how businesses grow, compete and adapt. Students explore entrepreneurship, leadership, branding, marketing, management and financial decision-making through a blend of academic classes and practical discussion.

The course also examines economics, global systems, macroeconomics, trade and financial markets, helping students connect theory to real-world issues. Teaching is delivered by expert tutors, and the programme encourages participants to think critically about business strategy, ethics, innovation and the role of AI in modern enterprise.

A highlight of the experience is the Business Website Challenge, where students work in teams to develop a new business idea, conduct market research, identify revenue streams and pitch their concept to “investors”. Alongside the academic content, students can take part in social, cultural and sporting activities, and they finish the programme with a Certificate of Achievement and, where criteria are met, a personalised Letter of Recommendation.
