Fancy a taste of Oxford tech this summer? Join the two-week Discover Technology Academy to build websites, launch rockets, and tackle a live innovation challenge - gain practical skills, boost your uni/career profile and connect with peers and academics.

Discover Technology Academy is a two-week summer technology programme run on an Oxford University campus that introduces young students to core topics in computer science and engineering.

Students (primarily aged 12-14) learn to build websites with HTML & CSS, experiment with electricity and photonics, study maths for engineering and computing, and design and launch rockets. The course includes a four-hour Planet Innovation Challenge where students collaborate to develop and present technical solutions.

The programme features small classes (maximum 15), expert tutors typically from Oxford and Cambridge, a packed social and cultural programme, and a graduation ceremony. Successful participants receive a Certificate of Achievement and may be awarded a personalised Letter of Recommendation; applicants pay a deposit to secure their place and must meet English language and motivation requirements.
