Oxford Scholastica Academy’s Online Economics & Finance Course is a live, online summer programme for students aged 15-18 who want to explore economics, markets and finance in more depth. Taught via Zoom, the course introduces key ideas in microeconomics and macroeconomics while also looking at global trade, market structures, fiscal and monetary policy, game theory, investment appraisal and the future impact of AI on the economy.
Students learn through interactive teaching, masterclasses, independent study and real-world applications, including a mock stock exchange and problem-solving tasks. The course is designed to build subject knowledge, analytical thinking and confidence, while connecting students with expert tutors from leading universities.
Participants can choose either a one-week or two-week format. Successful completion leads to an Oxford Scholastica Academy Certificate of Achievement, and outstanding students may also receive a personalised Letter of Recommendation.
The programme is fully online and includes opportunities to meet other students from around the world.

Location
- Must be aged 15-18 at the start of the chosen course.
- Must be motivated to learn more about the subject.
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English well (minimum C1 / IELTS 6.5).
- No formal academic prerequisites are required.
£595 for one week or £995 for two weeks. Tuition includes live teaching, masterclasses, preparatory reading, independent study assignments, detailed personalised feedback, a graduation ceremony, a certificate of achievement, a letter of recommendation, an ambassador programme invitation and ongoing support.
