Oxford Summer Courses' Computer Science summer school is an in-person, tutorial-style programme hosted in Oxford University colleges for students aged 16-17. Small-group seminars (maximum ~8 students) teach programming, algorithms, data structures and AI, and tutors tailor content to the group's interests.
Students complete two pieces of independent work which are reviewed in 1:1 or 2:1 tutorials.
Beyond classroom learning, the course includes expert speakers, visits to Oxford colleges, social events, excursions and a university fair to explore future pathways. Accommodation is offered in college rooms (single or twin) depending on tier; some tiers include airport transfers and different meal arrangements.
A paper certificate and a letter of recommendation are provided on completion.
