Oxford Summer Courses' International Relations and Politics summer school is a two-week programme hosted in Cambridge University colleges designed for motivated 13-15-year-olds. Teaching is delivered in very small groups (average class size 8) through seminar-style lessons, interactive workshops and a masterclass on teamwork and debating.
Tutors tailor content to the group's interests and focus on political theories, governance, causes of conflict and contemporary global issues. Afternoons combine group work, practical diplomacy-style challenges, debates and excursions that mirror real-world policy scenarios.
The course includes social and cultural activities around Cambridge and offers personalised tutor feedback, a certificate of achievement and a letter of recommendation on completion. Families can choose from multiple pricing/accommodation tiers (Non-residential, Plus, Superior, Premier) with differing inclusions such as private rooms, airport transfers and insurance.
