Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust & Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Virtual Work Experience

This virtual work experience programme introduces students to careers across Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. It is designed to help you explore what working in the NHS can look like, with a mix of clinical and non-clinical pathways to consider.

You will gain insight into the organisation’s values, the services it provides, and the range of roles that keep healthcare services running.

Across the programme, you will learn about nursing, midwifery, Allied Health Professions, medicine, and non-clinical careers such as digital roles, business support and medical engineering. The experience includes quizzes, activities and recorded webinars with professionals, so you can build knowledge while testing what you have learned.

By the end, you will have a broader understanding of the NHS and the career routes available within these trusts, along with a certificate of completion.
