Home Education Day is a tailored visit for home educating families and home education groups to learn about the role and work of UK Parliament. The day includes a tour of the Palace of Westminster and a range of self-led, hands-on activities designed for different ages and abilities.

Activities include exploring how a Bill becomes law, as well as sessions on petitions, elections and campaigning. The event is designed to make Parliament engaging and accessible for learners while giving them a chance to discover the building and how democracy works in practice.
