Curious how A-level Politics actually works? Join a free live webinar to explore the course, see politics in action via the Clacton by-election case study, and build understanding of elections, parties, media, representation and power—so you start confident.

This is a free live online seminar for students who are starting A-level Politics. It offers a practical introduction to the course and uses the Clacton by-election as a live case study to show how the subject really works in practice.

The session explains what A-level Politics actually involves, how the course fits together, and how it differs from GCSE. It looks at the big ideas behind elections, parties, media, representation and power, while also showing why current affairs only become useful when they are tied to a clear argument.

The seminar also highlights what strong students do differently, including using evidence to test claims, comparing ideas directly and reaching more robust judgements. There is a live written Q&A after the main session, and the registration form sends the joining link by email before the event.
