St Paul’s School - Gissing Sports Scholarships

St Paul’s School is launching the Gissing Sports Scholarships for boys entering the school in the Autumn Term 2026 (11+ and 16+), with plans to add 13+ in 2027. The scholarships are intended for pupils who show a strong passion and ability for sport and who will actively participate in the school’s co-curricular sporting programme and represent the school in fixtures and competitions.

The 11+ scholarships are worth A3500 per year and run for five years; they require a pupil to demonstrate outstanding ability in at least two of the school’s three major sports, ongoing participation in co-curricular sport, and representation at school events. The 16+ scholarships are worth A33,000 per year per pupil for two years to support activities such as international travel, kit and coaching.

Applicants for the 16+ awards must be of academy, national or international standard in one of St Paul’s major sports-or show strong evidence of future outstanding potential. All scholarships are monitored annually by the school’s Directors of Sport and are conditional on continued sporting participation and representation.
