Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship (Fortus Limited)

Fortus Limited is offering an entry-level Payroll Administrator apprenticeship. The role provides on-the-job learning across payroll tasks including setting up and processing payrolls, creating client accounts with HMRC, submitting RTI reports, processing starters and leavers, calculating holiday pay and statutory payments, issuing payslips, managing auto-enrolment pension submissions and dealing with client and employee enquiries.

Apprentices will study for the Payroll Administrator (Level 3) qualification with training provided by MBKB LTD. Training includes one day per week of online training and time away from work for specialist learning.

The apprenticeship covers practical payroll systems (including RTI), MS Excel and customer service processes required for payroll delivery.

Practical details: this is a paid apprenticeship (£18,000 per year), working Monday to Friday (typical hours 8:30/9:00 to 17:00; standard 37. 5hrs per week). The apprenticeship starts on 1 September 2026, runs for 1 year 6 months, and has 1 position available.
