Penguin Your Future, Edited Virtual Work Experience

Step into Penguin’s world of publishing with this virtual work experience programme. You’ll explore how ideas become products, how stories are shaped for readers, and how different teams work together to bring books to life in print, audio and digital formats.

The programme introduces the breadth of roles available in publishing and shows how creativity, strategy and collaboration all play a part in the industry.

Across the experience, you’ll take part in interactive activities and hear directly from Penguin colleagues. Modules cover the journey from spotting and buying a book, through making and designing it, to building buzz, rights deals and brand partnerships that help stories reach audiences.

You’ll also look at employability skills and the many ways to begin a career at Penguin, including entry-level roles, internships and work experience. The programme includes a certificate of completion and offers over 7 hours of content.
