Work through four virtual tasks tracing a medicine from molecule to market, including UK health economics, brand marketing and go-to-market strategy. Explore how research, pricing and customer insight shape a launch, then earn a completion certificate signed by Forage’s CEO.
Explore the biopharmaceutical industry through Pfizer’s free interactive virtual work experience programme, hosted by Forage. It offers an in-depth introduction to how medicines are developed, evaluated and brought to market, giving participants a practical feel for the kind of challenges and decisions involved across the sector.
The programme is designed for people who want to learn more about Pfizer and the wider industry, whether they are considering an apprenticeship, undergraduate placement, university study or a career move. It helps build employability skills and gives a clearer picture of the real work environment, while also supporting those who are unsure whether biopharmaceuticals are the right fit for them.
Participants work through four tasks covering the molecule-to-market pathway, health economics in the UK, brand marketing and go-to-market strategy. These activities explore research and development, commercialisation, customer insight, pricing and access, and the strategic thinking needed to launch a medicine successfully.
On completion, participants receive a certificate signed by the CEO of Forage, which can be added to a CV or LinkedIn profile. The programme is fully virtual and self-paced, taking around 4 to 6 hours to complete.
