Join West Way Pharmacy in Stafford as a Pharmacy Apprentice and get hands-on experience working in a community pharmacy setting. You will learn to serve customers, handle cash, take and hand out prescriptions, dispense prescriptions under supervision, promote services, maintain cleanliness, use pharmacy IT systems, and receive and check medication.
This role is full-time (34 hours per week) including Saturdays and offers on-the-job learning with study time provided.
The apprenticeship includes structured training delivered by Buttercups Training Limited for the Pharmacy Services Assistant (Level 2) qualification. Training takes place at the workplace (no college travel required).
Course content covers prescription handling, stock management, patient confidentiality, pharmacy legislation and governance, person-centred care, and safety procedures. There is one position available and successful completion may lead to a permanent role.
Location: 128 West Way, Stafford, ST17 9YF. Wage for the first year is £13,348.40 (apprentice rate) and study time is provided during the week. To apply, sign in with your GOV.UK One Login.
