Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - New Line Pharmacy Limited

This is a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship based at New Line Pharmacy Limited in Wallsend (11 Coast Road, NE28 9HP). The role involves engaging with customers to provide prescription counter services and advice, assisting in dispensing prescription medicines, ordering and rotating stock, supporting minor ailments services, and delivering a variety of public health services while working on the job.

You will be employed and learn on the job for most of the apprenticeship, with time away from work for specialist training delivered by I & F LIMITED. The training leads to a Pharmacy Services Assistant (Level 2) qualification and may include Functional Skills if required.

The apprenticeship includes detailed learning outcomes such as receiving and logging prescriptions, assembling prescribed items, working to legislative and organisational standards, using pharmacy IT systems, and promoting patient safety and equality.

Wages are listed at £15,704 for the first year (may increase depending on age) and the role is advertised as 40 hours a week. The apprenticeship starts on 6 December 2025, runs for 1 year 3 months, and there is 1 position available.
