Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - Prime Response Pharmacy Ltd

This is a Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship based in Islington, London (N1 9ER) with Prime Response Pharmacy Ltd. The role combines on-the-job work in a community pharmacy with off-the-job training leading to a Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 qualification.

Typical duties include providing prescription counter services, assisting with dispensing and stock management, advising customers on over-the-counter medicines, and supporting public health services.

You will work predominantly in the pharmacy at 70 Chapel Market, Islington, London and be employed for 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00-19:00 with a 30 minute lunch break, and alternating Saturdays). Training is delivered by the named training provider (I & F Limited) and includes the Level 2 programme plus Functional Skills as required.

The apprenticeship will develop practical pharmacy skills, safe working practices, person-centred care, and pharmacy IT and governance knowledge.

The vacancy is for one position. Employers expect GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (grade 4-9) as desirable. Further progression within the sector may be available on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
