This is an on-the-job Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship where you will work in a community pharmacy setting providing safe and effective management and supply of medicines. Typical duties include assembling and issuing prescribed items, performing pharmaceutical calculations, providing person-centred health advice, supporting clinical governance and day-to-day pharmacy operations, supervising pharmacy staff, and contributing to quality assurance activities.
Successful completion enables registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
You will follow the Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Level 3 apprenticeship standard delivered with training from I & F LIMITED. The role is full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday 9:00am-6:00pm.
The apprenticeship starts on 1 December 2025 and runs for approximately 2 years 3 months. Wage information: £15,704 for the first year (may increase depending on age) and an indicated hourly range of £7.
55-£12. 21 depending on experience.
The apprenticeship is based at 23 Oakhill Rd, RH13 5SD (Horsham). Applicants must meet the essential qualifications (GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at grade 4) and be able to travel to the pharmacy (within ~35 minutes).
