Study Mind Physics Summer School

Study Mind’s Physics Summer School is an immersive programme for 16-18 year olds who want to build confidence, deepen their understanding of physics, and strengthen their academic profile for future study. The course is based in London and is designed around practical, engaging learning rather than passive classroom teaching.

Participants take part in interactive workshops, group projects, simulations, experiments, and research-focused activities that connect physics theory to real-world applications. The programme also includes support with academic writing, presentation skills, UCAS planning, and personal statement preparation, helping students think ahead to university applications in physics-related subjects.

The experience is led by experienced professionals and is structured to be collaborative and supportive, with opportunities to network with tutors and other motivated students. A certificate is provided, and accommodation plus food are available for residential options, including a Gold DofE residential package based at UCL halls of residence in central London.
