Pinsent Masons Paralegal Apprenticeship

Pinsent Masons' Paralegal Apprenticeship offers a two-year, work-based route into a legal career based in the firm's Birmingham or Manchester offices. Apprentices join the Vario Paralegal Centre of Excellence, contribute to real client projects across practice areas (for example: Construction & Projects, Property, Finance & Banking, Disputes, Intellectual Property, Cyber Data & Privacy, Employment, Corporate) and are supported by experienced paralegals and lawyers.

You will study towards the Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship standard while working four days per week in the office and having a dedicated weekly study day. The firm provides a comprehensive induction, structured on-the-job learning, formal training sessions, a skills coach and access to wider learning and development resources.

Pinsent Masons covers training fees and pays a starting salary so you can earn while you learn.

Key dates for the 2026 cohort: applications open 23 October 2025 and close 29 January 2026 (5pm). In-person assessment centres are scheduled between March and April 2026 and the programme starts in September 2026.

Some UK and Ireland travel may be required during the apprenticeship; travel expenses will be reimbursed per policy.
