See Sikelianos’ Greek drama staged in a translation and adaptation by A. Coopey, bringing myth, classical reference and modern interpretation together. Stay for a Q&A with the actors on the adaptation, staging and themes, as part of Greek Week at St Andrews.

This performance stages Angelos Sikelianos’ Daedalus in Crete, translated and adapted by A. Coopey. The event offers audiences the chance to experience a Greek dramatic text in performance, with myth, classical reference and modern interpretation brought together on stage.

A brief question-and-answer session with the actors follows the performance, giving attendees the opportunity to reflect on the adaptation, the staging and the themes of the play. It is an in-person event open to all, and is part of the wider Greek Week programme at St Andrews.
