PM+M - Accounting + Advisory Apprentice

Join PM+M's Accounting + Advisory apprenticeship programme to gain hands-on experience in accounting and advisory work while studying towards AAT Level 3 and Level 4 (Professional Accounting Technician). The role combines on-the-job learning with structured training delivered by the training provider First Intuition Limited and includes study leave and mentoring.

Typical duties include preparation of accounts (both in-office and at client premises), tax computations, use of accounting software such as Xero, QBO and Sage, and supporting Accounts and Advisory team activities.

This apprenticeship is a 3-year programme starting 1 September 2026, working 36 hours per week. Training and development include professional skills (communication, IT, organisation), accounting principles, interpretation of financial information, and progression support towards further qualifications such as ACCA or ACA once AAT levels are achieved.

The role offers internal training, mentoring, and development conversations to support career progression within the firm.

The position is based in Blackburn (Greenbank Technology Park) or Bury, with hybrid working offered as part of the benefits package. Salary range advertised: £14,133.60 to £22,857.12 (dependent on age).
