POLIS Subject Masterclasses give Year 12 students a first taste of undergraduate study in Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge. Each masterclass includes two taster lectures delivered by academic staff, opportunities to discuss and ask questions, and sessions introducing the Cambridge admissions process.
Participants also hear from current undergraduates about student life and the course. The sessions are aimed at students considering applying to the Human, Social and Political Sciences (HSPS) or History & Politics triposes and are designed to help applicants understand course content and preparation for UCAS/Cambridge admissions.

- Intended to help prospective undergraduates prepare for Cambridge applications
- Typical entrance requirements for the degree: A*AA at A-level (Human, Social and Political Sciences and History & Politics triposes); some colleges may require a History A-level for History & Politics
