This academic conference explores the political legacy of Donald Trump and its impact on the United States over the past decade. It is designed to support A-Level US and Global Politics study, while remaining open to all students who want a deeper understanding of modern American politics.
The day includes a series of expert-led sessions covering Trump’s election campaigns and voting behaviour, the remaking of the Republican Party, the role of the US Supreme Court, debates over American identity and democracy, and the effects of Trump’s tariff and trade policies. The conference links political theory to real-world case studies, making it useful for classroom learning, exam preparation, and wider political curiosity.
The event takes place in Leeds and is delivered by a panel of experienced academics and political specialists.
