POLITICS IN PERSPECTIVE: A-Level Masterclass, University of Sussex

A free one-day Masterclass at the University of Sussex for A-level students interested in studying Politics at university. The event is designed to deepen understanding of core A-Level Politics topics, give a taste of university-level teaching, and help strengthen UCAS personal statements through meaningful extracurricular engagement.

The day features three lectures delivered by University of Sussex academics: Prof. Paul Webb (The Evolving British Party System), Prof. Emily Robinson (People and Politics: Citizenship and Participation), and Dr.

Hannah Richter (Re-evaluating the legacy of classical liberalism). Attendees will hear current research insights and examples of advanced political analysis to support progression to higher education. The masterclass runs in person on the University of Sussex campus in Falmer.

The event gives students a genuine campus experience and the opportunity to engage with academics and sample university-level Politics teaching. Tickets are free and should be booked via the Eventbrite event page.
