Pre Diploma Program at Rimini in Italy

The Pre Diploma Program in Rimini is a two-week residential summer course hosted at the International School of Rimini (ISR), an authorised IB World School. Small classes (maximum 12 students) are led by experienced IB teachers and examiners, focusing on subject-specific instruction, IB study skills (note-taking, time management, inquiry-based learning), and introductions to Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and the Extended Essay (EE).

Students choose four subjects (2 HL + 2 SL) from options including Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation HL, Biology HL, English Language & Literature SL and Economics SL, with optional subjects available depending on demand.

Alongside academic sessions, the programme provides personalised mentoring, daily reflection, and workshops in critical thinking, presentations and collaboration to develop the IBDP mindset and university pathways (including CAS introduction). The residential element includes 4-star hotel accommodation, full board, evening activities and cultural excursions by the Adriatic coast, with 24/7 supervision by house parents to ensure safety and wellbeing.
